I hope my grandmother doesn’t see this before she gets it but I wanted to get a post up before leaving for the weekend

anyways… here is a dark chocolate henna cake!

I waned to keep it classy so rather than playing with colors I played with textures (the matte vs shinny) and piping chocolate always reminds me of henna so I used that as inspirations and this is what turned out. I freehanded all of it and made up the design as I went along

This one I only had a few hours to make rather than a few days so its not my largest or most technical cake but over all I am pleased with how it turned out.

Candy Cake part 1

Tonight I was able to finish the fist step of this overly ambitious cake project. I went shopping for all my supplies and managed to make all the fondant decorations

the ones on the left are supposed to be little candies and the right are the tops of lollipops and the sticks are going to be made out of sour punch straws

Strawberry Icebox Cake!!!
this is a Delicious and Simple recipe
all you need is fresh strawberries, whipping cream, powdered sugar (for the whip cream) graham crackers and some semi-sweet chocolates.
first get a casarole dish and make a layer of graham crackers along the bottom
whip some cream and sweeten to taste (if your strawberries are a bit tart then make your whip cream a bit sweeter) also slice some nice plump red strawberries
layer your homemade whip cream on top of the graham crackers followed by a layer of strawberry slices
add a bit more whip cream then the next layer of graham crackers, whip cream, and strawberries, on and on until you run out of either graham crackers, whip cream or strawberries. place in the refrigerator for 4 or more hours, overnight even works wonderfully.
I know what you’re thinking, what can be so good about strawberries, whip cream and soggy graham crackers but after all those ingredients hang out in your icebox they turn into an absolutely yummy and fluffy strawberry cake. Before serving melt your semi-sweet chocolates and drizzle over the top. NOW ENJOY :)
